Gary Vaynerchuk is an entrepreneur that had a hand in creating a number of apps that are sitting on your phone right now that now also serves as a motivational speaker. As you'll see below, he describes his style as a defensive coordinator about to tell his team to rip the other guys' throats out.
Vaynerchuk sat in for the Joe Rogan podcast for nearly two hours of motivational perspective. A friend shared this clip on my timeline, and I thought it was worthy to share with you. Those familiar with the Rogan podcast know this clip comes with an extreme language warning. I've cleaned up the money quote below.
"People should stop complaining. People should figure out who they are. People should not listen to America propaganda about fixing the stuff they suck at, they should be tripling down on what they're good at. They should be competent in certain areas, but you're not going to become Beyonce. Your bone structure is a certain way. You're not going to solve everything. Your IQ can get a little bit better, but don't worry about the incremental. Figure out what puts you on fire and you're halfway decent at. If you're lucky enough to be good at what you like, become tunnel vision."
