Unless you are fluent in Twitter-ese the hashtag at the top of this article makes no sense to you. It's the rallying cry Rutgers has used throughout its entrance into the Big Ten.
Most people - okay, no one - outside the state of New Jersey welcomed Rutgers into the Big Ten with open arms. If the Big Ten Network did not exist, they say, Rutgers would still be a member of the American Athletic Conference.
As the kids say, haters gonna hate.
Rutgers is using its AAC exodus as something of a rebirth, a chance to restart its entire athletic history.
