Those listening to South Carolina radio knew exactly what Shane Beamer told his team has the Gamecocks entered halftime with a 14-3 lead over No. 1 Georgia in Sanford Stadium.
"None of this 0-0 bull crap," Beamer said. "We're kicking their butts right now."
In the home locker room, the message was different.
Not one of panic, but of focused motivation.
Captured by SEC Network's cameras, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart referenced last year's Missouri game, a contest where the Bulldogs trailed 16-6 at the half before coming back to win 26-22.
On Saturday, Smart told his team they'd come back to win something in the neighborhood of 31-21.
"This is what we train for. This is what we work for. This is who we are," Smart said.
"Here's the goal for the second half. We're going to get about six possessions on offense. Six possessions, y'all got me? We're going to score on four of them. They might score once more on defense. Do you understand?
"We're going to win the game, we're going to come back in here and have a good time and figure out how we can get better.
"This is what I need. We need to win one moment at a time. What's the first moment? Kickoff return. We're going to win one moment at a time because we're not outcome related. We're worried about winning a moment."

Turns out, Smart underestimated his team.
Georgia took the second half's opening drive 75 yards in six plays for a touchdown. The defense then forced a three-and-out, and then punched in a 9-play, 49-yard drive to claim a lead it would not relinquish.
The Bulldogs missed a field goal on their next possession before scoring their third touchdown on their fourth second half possession.
In all, Georgia touched the ball six times in the second half (not counting a 1-play kneel down) and scored three times, but the defense forced three punts (two three-and-outs), a turnover on downs and two interceptions in a 24-14 win.
