San Jose State assistant AD for football operations Garrett Wolfe is joining Tavita Pritchard's new Stanford staff, sources told FootballScoop on Wednesday.
The move -- if one can even call it that -- will be a re-homecoming for Wolfe, who served two previous turns on The Farm. He was Stanford's director of football operations from 2023-24, and also worked with the Cardinal from 2015-18, completing his tenure as assistant director of recruiting operations. Pritchard coached quarterbacks and wide receivers and served as the Cardinal's offensive coordinator during Wolfe's first term with Stanford.
That period saw Stanford sign top-20 recruiting classes, and win the Pac-12 and the Rose Bowl in 2015.
A native of the Sacramento suburb of Folsom, Calif., Wolfe left Stanford in 2018 to become the director of football operations and assistant AD for football administration at Sacramento State from 2019-22. Wolfe also served as the director of football operations at Portland State and served as the video coordinator of the defunct United Football League's Sacramento Mountain Lions.
A FootballScoop Operations Director of the Year finalist in 2025, Wolfe has served as a representative on the National Football Operations Organization previously.
