P.J. Fleck is a character.
Now he may soon be a character in his own television show.
As Joe Christensen reported for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, talks have begun to create a 4-part behind-the-scenes television series centered on Fleck and his new program Minnesota, with hopes of selling the series to ESPN or another national platform.
The name of the production company was not included in the report, nor was any potential shooting and air dates of the possible series, though the 2017 season feels like a safe bet.
Fleck quickly built a brand for himself -- literally -- as a high-energy ball of positivity from the moment he jumped from an anonymous NFL position coach to the head coach at Western Michigan in December 2012. In addition to a number of high-profile recruits, that brand has attracted the fascination Sports Illustrated, College GameDay and, a check of the archives indicates, this website.
That could soon extend to a television network or streaming service near you.
