Jim Harbaugh is a football coach, a former quarterback, an unabashed Judge Judy fanboy, an actor, a father and, now, an author.
Harbaugh has turned his most famous phrase -- "Enthusiasm Unknown to Mankind" -- into a book, co-produced by photographer David Turnley. For those of you who follow Harbaugh on Twitter, the Michigan coach occasionally shared Turnley's photos as he chronicled the first year of Harbaugh's return to Ann Arbor.
Turns out, Turnley is actually better as his craft than Harbaugh at coaching. A Pulitzer Prize winner and a short-lived Michigan walk-on under Bo Schembechler and assistant coach Jack Harbaugh, Turnley is described as "one of the best documentary photographers in the world." Their collaboration consists of 300 black-and-white photos and a 9,000-word Harbaugh essay. It weighs seven pounds.
Rest assured, it's Harbaugh through and through.
