Atlanta Falcons: 49ers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks has completed his head coaching interview with the organization.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have completed an interview with Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald.

New York Giants: Ian Rapoport shares that Saints running backs coach Joel Thomas has interviewed for the same job with the Giants.

Atlanta Falcons: Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan interviewed for the head coaching job today. Ian Rapoport adds that they will interview 49ers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks tonight as well.

Henderson State (D-II - AR): Henderson State is seeking qualified applicants for the offensive line position. Interested candidates please email resume and references to maxfiem@hsu.edu. No phone calls please.

Southern Miss: Carter Hankins, a former Southern Miss player who served as a graduate assistant working with the quarterbacks, will not return to the staff and is looking for a new opportunity, per source.

Texas: Steve Sarkisian has inked his four-year contract extension that aims to keep him with Texas through 2030.

LA Chargers: The team completed an interview with 49ers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks for the head coaching opening.

Tennessee Titans: Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pierce has completed an interview for the head coaching job, the team announced.

New Mexico State: Following the departure of Nate Dreiling for Utah State, newly added defensive line coach Joe Morris, who joined the staff last week after serving as the defensive coordinator at Sam Houston, has been elevated to defensive coordinator.

Pitt: Sources tell FootballScoop the staff is expected to add Western Carolina (FCS) offensive line coach Jeremy Darveau (OL), Howard (FCS) offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach Lindsey Lamar (RBs) and Miami (OH) special teams coordinator / defensive assistant Jacob Bronowski (STC / TEs). Local outlets have reported the same.

Georgia: Co-defensive coordinator / safeties coach Will Muschamp is moving into an analyst position to spend more time with his family, as his son, Whit, will be a freshman at Vanderbilt in the fall.

Campbell (FCS - NC): Peter Chung has accepted the director of player personnel job with the Fighting Camels program. He previously served in the same role at Houston Christian (FCS).

Mississippi College (D-II):  Head coach Mike Kershaw has announced the additions of Fairhope HS (AL) assistant head coach / offensive coordinator Joel Williams (assistant HC / OC / OL), Stetson (FCS - FL) running backs coach Gunner Hudspeth (STC / safeties), and Miguel Black will remain on staff as running backs coach and recruiting coordinator.

LA Chargers: NFL Network shares that Jim Harbaugh plans to meet with the Chargers within the next week.

Georgia: Alabama corners coach Travaris Robinson has joined the staff as co-defensive coordinator / safeties coach.

Utah: Central State (D-II - OH) defensive backs coach Colby Brown has joined the staff as a defensive quality control coach, per source.

McPherson College (NAIA – KS): McPherson has a LBs job open. Compensation is $31,000. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: coaching the position, recruiting a high school and junior college area, coaching in the weight room, other tasks assigned by OC or HC. BYU: NFL coaching veteran Kevin Gilbride has joined thee staff as tight ends coach. Gilbride spent last season as an offensive analyst on the Charlotte staff and coached the Carolina Panthers tight ends in 2022 after serving in a support staff role for two seasons for the franchise.

Tennessee Titans: The team has completed an interview with Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka for the head coaching job.

Las Vegas Raiders: Team support for Antonio Pearce is so strong that Adam Schefter shares he doesn't see owner Mark Davis making a different hire. 

Jim Harbaugh: Related to the news above, the NFL Network guys are now saying Jim Harbaugh continues to seek an interview with Chargers ownership; but the possibility of him returning to Michigan is becoming a thing to monitor. 

Utica (D-III - NY):Utica University has a restricted earnings position. This position covers 9 months and includes a $9,000 stipend. Experience playing and coaching defensive line or linebackers is preferred. Position to run 2/1/24-5/31/24. Then start again from 8/1/24-4/30/24. Andrew College (JC - GA): Former University of Pikeville (NAIA) running backs coach / recruiting coordinator Derrick Lucas has accepted the running backs / associate head coach / recruiting coordinator job on staff, per source. Andrew College will start play in the fall of 2024.

Alabama: Kalen DeBoer's chief of staff at UW Courtney Morgan came with him to Alabama last night and is expected to join his staff in a similar role. 

Utah: Sources tell FootballScoop Utah has added Colby Brown from Central University and Brady Daigh from Utah Tech in defensive quality control roles. 

Holy Cross (FCS - MA): Former UMass graduate assistant Jesse Monteiro has been named the cornerbacks coach for the program.

Southwestern Assemblies of God (NCCAA - TX): Defensive coordinator Jared Hudgins has been promoted to head coach at SAGU. 

LA Chargers: Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken has interviewed for the job, Adam Schefter shares.

Hawaii: Dennis Thurman, the director of quality control and defensive analyst at Colorado and former Jackson State (FCS - MS) defensive coordinator, is expected to be the new defensive coordinator at Hawaii, per 247. Sources add that Hamilton Tigercats special teams coordinator Jeff Reinebold and SMU co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Dan Morrison plan to join the staff as well.

San Diego State: Multiple reports share that Mike Schmidt will join the Aztecs as offensive line coach. He spent last season coaching tight ends / tackles at Mississippi State and spent nine years earlier in his career coaching the SDUS offensive line.

University of Washington: UW AD Troy Dannen will use Parker Executive Search firm to assist with their head coach search. Parker was also the firm that helped UW select Dannen as their new AD a few months back.

Buffalo: Norfolk State offensive coordinator Ray Pickering is set to join the Buffalo staff as running backs coach sources share.

UT Permian Basin: Sources tell FootballScoop UTPB co-OC / offensive line coach Jake Maxwell has stepped down and is seeking coaching opportunities in the midwest. Maxwell previously coached offensive line at East Central University and MSU-Northern. Maxwell played offensive line at Wisconsin.

Georgia Tech: Sources tell FootballScoop that Brent Key is expected to add the architect of the ACC's top defense as his new defensive coordinator.

San Diego State: Mike Schmidt is returning to SDSU as offensive line coach Kirk Kenney is reporting. Schmidt coached offensive line at SDSU for nearly a decade and then at Syracuse for multiple seasons. He spent last season at Mississippi State.

Iowa: Receivers coach Kelton Copeland is not expected to return multiple outlets are reporting.

LSU: Earlier this week we reported that LSU wasn't done trying to poach SEC defensive line coaches. We can now share that the deal is in place, Missouri's Kevin Peoples is headed to LSU.

Oklahoma: New offensive play-caller Seth Littrell will earn slightly more than half of what Jeff Lebby was set to earn, and Brent Venables spread the savings out amongst the staff.

Murray State (FCS - KY): Sources tell FootballScoop Jody Wright has landed his first set of assistant coaches.

Auburn: Last month it was reported that Wes McGriff was leaving for Texas A&M where he would be Mike Elko's defensive backs coach / pass game coordinator, but multiple reports share today that McGriff will be remaining at Auburn for the 2024 season.

Montana Tech (NAIA): Montana Tech is seeking candidates for the position of Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Coach. Candidate will work directly with the Head Coach in leading the program, and will serve as Defensive Coordinator while coaching a position. Previous Coordinator Experience Preferred but not required. CSU Pueblo (D-II - CO): CSU Pueblo is currently looking for volunteer assistants. Job responsibilities would include but are not limited to film breakdown, helping with all aspects of recruiting, assisting with game preparation and assisting with a position group. This is an unpaid position, which can lead to a paid position . Applicants must be proficient in Hudl video software, Microsoft Office, Google Docs as well as other basic technology devices.
