Mark Stoops awards raises, extensions to two Kentucky assistants (Jay Boulware)

Kentucky has awarded raises and extensions to a number of Mark Stoops's assistants, according to documents obtained by Kentucky Sports Radio

Vince Marrow, already among the highest paid non-coordinators in college football, saw his deal extended into 2026, but with no raise. After making $1.1 million in 2022 and $1.2 million in 2023, he'll earn $1.3 million over the next three years.

Marrow, Kentucky's associate head coach, tight ends coach, recruiting coordinator and NFL liaison, is in his 12th season in Lexington and would owe UK $400,000 if he left after this season.

Elsewhere, running backs coach/special teams coordinator Jay Boulware signed a 1-year extension, which was necessary after the original 2-year deal he signed upon coming over from the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the 2022 campaign. He netted a $25,000 raise upon signing the 1-year deal, paying him $575,000.

Boulware's deal was signed Aug. 24, per KSR.

Kentucky extended a number of Stoops's assistants already this year, starting back when he ended his Texas A&M dalliance in December
