Brent Pry has found his new offensive line coach.
Sources tell FootballScoop that veteran offensive line coach Ron Crook is expected to join the Hokies staff.
Crook spent last season on staff at South Dakota (FCS), where he served as run game coordinator, special teams coordinator, and worked primarily with the Coyotesβ tight ends.
The coaching veteran's career spans three decades and includes previous stops at Cincinnati, West Virginia, Stanford, Harvard (FCS) and Illinois.
At Virginia Tech, he is set to replace Joe Rudolph, who left to become the offensive line coach at Notre Dame after one season on staff.
Earlier this morning a report shared that the Hokies were set to fill another vacancy on the offensive side of the ball with Elijah Brook of Maryland.
