In early November, after dropping their seventh straight game, decision makers in New Orleans decided to dismiss head coach Dennis Allen.
Allen went 18-25 as the head coach of the Saints, and was dismissed after a 2-7 start to his third season with the franchise.
After interviewing seven candidates, New Orleans filled the final open NFL head coaching job following Philly's win in the Super Bowl by hiring Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.
