Clay Helton has reportedly found his replacement,
Pete Thamel shares today that Brandon Bailey is expected to join the staff as their new defensive coordinator.
Bailey spent last season as the defensive coordinator at Buffalo under Mo Linguist, and at 27 was believed to be the youngest coordinator in FBS football.
A Georgia Southern alumnus, Bailey returns back to his roots after previously working under one of the top defensive minds in college football in Mike Elko at Texas A&M.
Earlier in his young career, Bailey worked for Jeff Monken and Willie Fritz at Georgia Southern and Tulane, where he worked under defensive coordinator Jack Curtis at both spots.
