Dallas Cowboys reportedly plan to interview Big Ten assistant for running backs job (Arizona State)

Yesterday we shared that the Cowboys planned to interview a former player in Texas assistant Tashard Choice for their running backs job.

Today another college coach has emerged in the Cowboys search to fill the running backs job,

CBS Sports shares that Dallas plans to interview Oregon assistant head coach / running backs coach Ra'Shaad Samples for the post.

Samples just finished his first season in Eugene, as Dan Lanning hired him away from Arizona State, where he was wide receivers coach / passing game coordinator.

Before Tempe, the rising young coach spent a season in the NFL coaching the running backs for Sean McVay and the Rams in LA.

The 30-year old also has previous coaching stops at SMU (RBs / recruiting coordinator), Texas (assistant WRs) and Houston (student assistant).
