Sources tell FootballScoop that Gabriella Mazzie, who was recruiting operations coordinator at Western Michigan, has accepted the director of recruiting operations post on Jeff Monken's Army Black Knights staff.
Taylor saw Billy Cosh, his first-year offensive coordinator, land an FCS head coaching job in this most recent coaching cycle, defensive coordinator Lou Esposito ultimately wind up at Michigan and well-regarded general manager Gaizka Crowley land the same post on the first-year staff of new Arizona coach Brent Brennan, who is guiding the Wildcats into the Big 12.
Army, now an AAC member, opens its season Friday, Aug. 30, against FCS program Lehigh. The Black Knights travel a week later to Florida Atlantic and have a game against storied power Notre Dame inside Yankee Stadium in November, among other key schedule highlights.
