Oregon has added an Urban Meyer quote to the walls of their facility (Facility)

Back in 2010, while Urban Meyer was the head coach at Florida, he dished out quite the compliment to Oregon - and the Ducks were clearly listening.

Five years later, ESPN's Trav Haney noticed the Urban quote on the wall, which prompted the following tweet last night.

At the time, Oregon (led by Chip Kelly) was leading the nation with 573 yards of offense a game and was putting up just shy of 55 points a game. The Ducks were lead by household names like Darron Thomas, LaMichael James, Cliff Harris, Casey Matthews, and Kenjon Barner. While it's not uncommon for coaches to give credit where and when credit is due, to see those words plastered on the walls of a facility is always something that makes you pause. Wondering where the idea came from? Well Helfrich has his former boss, Chip Kelly to thank for that. A few years back when @FootballScoop was visiting with Chip he noticed this gem right outside of Chip's office.

So next time you want to tip your cap to an opponent you have a shot at playing at some point down the road, you might want to think how your words would look on their wall.

Also, think about the impact this has on the mind of a 17 year old who is trying to decide where to play his college ball...
