Louisiana-Monroe dismisses Todd Berry (Featured)

Todd Berry has been dismissed as Louisiana-Monroe's head coach, the school announced Saturday night.

The announcement came after a 59-21 loss to Arkansas State, dropping the Warhawks to 1-9 on the year.

Berry was 28-43 in nearly six seasons at ULM. He led the Warhawks to an 8-5 mark and an appearance in the Independence Bowl in 2012, highlighted by a September run in which ULM beat No. 8 Arkansas, took Auburn to overtime and played eventual Big 12 champion Baylor to a 47-42 final.

In addition to ULM, Berry spent four years apiece as the head coach at Illinois State (1996-99) and Army (2000-03). A 32-year coaching veteran, Berry has held multiple leadership positions within the AFCA.

With the move, ULM becomes the 12th FBS program to make a coaching change during the 2015-16 cycle. Only 15 schools changed coaches one year ago.
