Paul Chryst arrived for work last Wednesday at 6:57 a.m. He left at 11:02 p.m. In between those 16 hours, Wisconsin insider Andy Baggot recounted 30 different meetings, appointments and tasks required of the Badgers' head coach during a typical game week Wednesday.
Like that of any head coach, Chryst's attention bobs and weaves between his myriad of responsibilities - from recruiting, to media conference calls, to game-planning, to uniform design, to meeting with players, to injury reports and back again. Over and over and over.
And in the end, Chryst leaves well after sunset, ready to do it all over again eight hours later.
