College Football Playoff to use Teamworks as its official communication partner (College Football Playoff)

The College Football Playoff announced Monday it will use Teamworks as its official communication partner, working with the teams and bowls involved in the game's new championship system.

“The majority of FBS [Football Bowl Subdivision] football programs already use Teamworks, so it was natural for us to be on the Teamworks platform as well,” said Laila Brock, Director of Team Operations and Logistics at the College Football Playoff. “Teamworks will allow us to efficiently communicate and to share and collect information not only with our staff and the staff at each participating bowl included in this year’s postseason, but also the representatives of the teams participating in each game.”

Teams participating in the College Football Playoff this year, as well as staff working with each bowl, will be able to securely access important documents, complete all required forms, view schedules, and access key contacts directly from their Teamworks mobile app. Teams will also receive individual alerts and mass communications from the College Football Playoff staff and bowl staff through Teamworks’ Messaging platform.

Teamworks’ Founder and President, Zach Maurides, states, “Working with the College Football Playoff is a natural step for Teamworks. We have proudly provided time-saving technologies and service to collegiate athletic departments since 2007, and we are excited to now expand our service to the teams’ postseason experience.”

We've written about Teamworks previously, saying:

Teamworks is a powerful platform to improve the operational efficiency of your team, this is not a recruiting software or database or a “video” system. Looking for a better way to do mass communication, calendars, increase accountability & eliminate excuses, file sharing, team travel, etc… Teamworks is not only your answer; but it is truly best of class.

We strongly believe there is no one in the market better equipped to handle your team's communication needs than Teamworks.
