This portion of the off season is filled with speaking engagements for many college head coahces, and first-year Houston head coach Major Applewhite got his talk started off today with quite the bang by opening with a joke that included his predecessor, Tom Herman.
Luckily, Mark Berman of Fox26 got Applewhite's opening remarks on camera.

"One of the questions I get is, what are the biggest differences and what things are going to be the same going into this year? " "Off the top of my head," Applewhite goes on to explain, "We're not going to be nearly as athletic at quarterback, but we're going to be a hell of a lot more athletic at head coach." BAZINGA! Coach Herman ended up seeing the clip above, and offered a nice little virtual fist-bump of sorts with a job of his own.
