Video: Cop leads cheer in high school student section (high schools)

I would have been absolutely terrified as a high schooler to stand in front of the student section at a football game and lead a cheer. Now, all these years later, I'd probably even more terrified than I was back then.

It's a good thing Jack Taschner isn't.

The security resource officer at Appleton East High School in Appleton, Wisc., Taschner surprised the students by leading the bus driver cheer last week.

"It just kind of popped in my head: I'd like to join in on them doing their cheer, and whatever they do, the bus driver thing, so I came in Friday morning, I talked to the principals, I said, 'Hey, here's what I thought, I had an idea,' and they said, 'Yeah, run with it,'โ€ Taschner told WBAY-TV in Wisconsin.
