Urban Meyer has "no issue" in regards to Greg Schiano and Penn State allegations (Ohio State)

Allegations about one of Greg Schiano's former jobs won't affect his current one.

Earlier this week former Penn State assistant Mike McQueary alleged Greg Schiano, "white as a ghost," indicated he saw Jerry Sandusky inappropriately touching a child during Schiano's stint as a Nittany Lions assistant in the 1990's -- 15 years or more before Sandusky was ultimately brought to justice.

Schiano denied the claim in a statement to ESPN.

That denial is enough for Schiano's current boss, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer.

“I first heard about it several months ago and we had a long talk,” the OSU head coach told the Toledo Blade. “I’ve known Greg for 20-some years. I have as much respect for Greg Schiano as I do any person — not just any coach, any person. We had the chat and he told me everything that happened. He stands by his statement and we stand by his statement.

“There’s no issue as far as I am concerned.”

Schiano is in his first season as the Buckeyes' assistant head coach and defensive coordinator.
