Tennessee: The University of Tennessee Strength and Conditioning Department is currently accepting applications for Unpaid Strength and Conditioning Internship positions for Summer 2017 to work with Football. All applicants must be highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic that want to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning. This internship will provide the opportunity to gain experience working with a Division 1 College Football Program. These positions will begin June 5th. Southern Utah: Southern Utah University Football Strength and Conditioning is currently seeking Volunteer Interns for the summer of 2017. This is an UNPAID position, but applicants will receive Division 1 college experience along with certification prep. Southern Utah is located in Cedar City, about 30 minutes from St. George Utah. The internship will start May 25 th , and run till August 1 st . Applicants should have or be working towards a degree in an Exercise Science or Kinesiology related field, along with plans to take their CSCS or CSCCa certification. Completion of this internship can fulfill potential credit hours towards a program degree and offer an opportunity for development in the field of sport performance. This position is responsible for assisting the football strength and conditioning staff with the implementation of the summer program, setup and breakdown of daily workouts, upkeep of the weight room, participation in weekly staff development, and hands-on experience training collegiate athletes.
