Steve Sarkisian apologies for behavior at booster event (Featured)

USC head coach Steve Sarkisian and athletics director Pat Haden have issued apologies Sunday for Sarkisian's behavior at a "Salute to Troy" donor event Saturday evening.

From ESPN.com...

The source said Sarkisian disparaged USC opponents, saying "they all suck" about a number of Pac-12 schools, and used inappropriate language while introducing his team to alumni and donors, as seen in video provided to ESPN by the team source.

"I sincerely apologize to my players and staff and to our fans for my behavior and my inappropriate language at our kickoff event Saturday night," Sarkisian said in a statement. "I have a responsibility to all of them and I let them down. Pat Haden talked to me after the event about my actions and I assured him this will not happen again."

Added Haden: "I met with Coach Sarkisian and I expressed my disappointment in the way he represented himself and the University at our Salute To Troy event. While the details of our conversation will remain between us, I am confident he heard my message loud and clear."

If video of Sarkisian's behavior does exist, as ESPN has reported, USC officials should assume is if that video will surface on to social media at some point.

The Trojans enter Sarkisian's second season as head coach ranked eighth in the preseason AP poll, released Sunday, the highest-ranked Pac-12 South team and trailing only Oregon in the Pac-12.

Update:ESPN has released the video.
