North Central (D-III - IL): After much consideration, sources tell FootballScoop that head coach Jeff Thorne has turned down the opportunity to join Tim Lester's staff at Western Michigan as offensive coordinator, and has elected to stay at North Central.

LA Rams: Joe Barry, who served as defensive coordinator for the Redskins this past year, will coach linebackers for the Rams reports Peter Schrager.

Western Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop North Central (D-III - IL) head coach Jeff Thorne has been offered the opportunity to join Tim Lester's staff as quarterbacks coach; however we understand the deal is not complete at this time.

Minnesota: Source tells FootballScoop WMU offensive grad assistant Greg Harbaugh Jr. will join PJ Fleck at Minnesota in an offensive quality control role.

Boise State: Azusa Pacific linebackers coach Spencer Danielson has joined the Boise State staff as a defensive grad assistant.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags have announced the hiring of Pat Flaherty as offensive line coach. Flaherty spent this past season with the 49ers and won two Super Bowls under Tom Coughlin.

TCU: Sources tell FootballScoop Arizona State offensive line coach Chris Thomsen has accepted a position at TCU.

Washington Redskins: With Sean McVay off to Los Angeles and wide receivers coach Wes Phillips (whose father is already on staff as defensive coordinator), Jason La Canfora reports Washington is likely to promote quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh to offensive coordinator with head coach Jay Gruden calling plays.

Clemson: Longtime defensive line coach Dan Brooks announced his retirement at Clemson's national championship parade today. Brooks (working alongside Marion Hobby, who handles the Tigers' defensive ends) was a perennial finalist for the FootballScoop Defensive Line Coach of the Year award.

Louisville: Florida offensive line coach Mike Summers will take the same position on Louisville's staff, according to ESPN's Brett McMurphy. Sources tell FootballScoop Summers will also have co-OC title. Chris Klenakis, per source, will move from co-OC / OL to tight ends.

Denver Broncos: Former Chargers head coach Mike McCoy has signed his contract to become the Broncos' offensive coordinator, according to Jason La Canfora.

Los Angeles Rams: Former Redskins defensive coordinator Joe Barry has joined the staff as linebackers coach, per Ian Rapoport.

Montana State: Former Bobcats quarterback DeNarius McGhee has been hired to coach quarterbacks.

Garden City (CC - KS): Garden City is looking to hire a new offensive line coach. If interested, please contact head coach Jeff Sims at Jeffrey.sims@gcccks.edu

Delaware: University of Buffalo running backs coach / special teams coordinator Matt Simon will be the new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Delaware.

Indianapolis Colts: Colts owner Jim Irsay attempted to lure Jon Gruden back into coaching as head coach of his Colts reports Adam Schefter; but Gruden remains committed to broadcasting.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns are reportedly hiring Jaguars defensive backs coach DeWayne Walker in the same capacity.

Mississippi State: Source tells FootballScoop Mississippi State plans to fill Mike Bellamy's offensive quality control role from within the staff.

Old Dominion: Although the two sides reportedly agreed to terms in mid-December and AD Wood Selig publicly stating that they should have things "wrapped up within a week" at the time, as of today Bobby Wilder's new 5 year contract remains unsigned reports Harry Minium of the Virginia Pilot. Minium reports the new deal will pay Wilder about $660,000 per year.

Georgetown: Source tells FootballScoop special teams / safeties coach Kevin Doherty is being promoted to defensive coordinator.

Houston Texans: Bill O'Brien assured Houston radio host John McClain he will not leave the Texans after this season. The club faces New England in the AFC Divisional round tonight.

Connecticut: Villanova's Billy Crocker has been named defensive coordinator at UConn. He'll earn $300,000 a year over a 3-year contract.

Cleveland Browns: Bob Wylie will be the Browns' offensive line coach, per Alex Marvez.

Los Angeles Rams: Former Saints defensive line coach Bill Johnson is taking the same position with the Rams, according to Alex Marvez.
