Well, that didn't take long.
Three months and change after descending upon the Hilltop, Chad Morris already has his first alternate helmet. The Mustangs donned red alternates at times under June Jones, and now they've got a blue lid (with a red, white and blue mustang decal) to match.
Absolutely no inside info here, but these figure to make sense around Labor Day (vs. Baylor on Sept. 4), 9/11 (vs. North Texas on Sept. 12) or Veteran's Day (vs. Temple on Nov. 6).
