Following tonight's victory over Texas A&M, Les' players carried him off the field. The emotional outpouring from fans and players was visible throughout the stadium all night.
Following the game, LSU AD Joe Alleva took the podium and announced, "Les Miles is our coach and will remain our coach."
Miles then took over, shared a few words and graciously answered many questions. Les was asked when he found out he would remain on as head coach. Les said he didn't know until after the game when the President of the University came up and told him he wanted Les to stay on.
Fitting, in our opinion, that it wasn't Joe Alleva who got to break the good news to Les.
