Inside Mike Leach's locker room message: "Nothing is fun unless it is hard." (Featured)

Every once in a while we're blessed with a great post practice, or post game, sound byte from Mike Leach while talking to reporters and media.

It seems to be pretty rare to get a glimpse of leach addressing his team and sharing his wisdom that way, but that's exactly what happened when cameras followed him into the locker room following the program's big 24-21 win over Stanford Saturday.

"The biggest thing that I want you take away from this game is nothing is really, really, really fun, unless it is hard. Okay? Nothing is really fun unless it is hard."

"We've got to embrace the things that are going to be hard, and we've got to embrace getting excited when things are hard because you guys are going to remember this game for the rest of your life. Now, there are plenty of games that you'll forget, but you'll remember this one for the rest of your life, and you've got to embrace it and be excited about it being hard and playing extremely hard."

"If you get way up on somebody, even then you want it to be as hard as you possibly can because you're pushing yourself. Then all of a sudden you're making great plays and you're doing things that you've never done before. So embrace the fact that it's hard, never hope that it's easy."
