Hue Jackson to "celebrate" Browns' 0-16 season by jumping in a lake (NFL)

Just about every coach from Nick Saban on down would get fired if he followed a 1-15 season with an 0-16 campaign.

But not Hue Jackson.

Jackson not only got to keep his job after an 0-16 season, he got to make good on his promise to jump into Lake Erie if the Browns suffered a winless season -- and then have the Browns promote him jumping into the lake.

The Browns' last two seasons were a Philadelphia 76ers-style, grit-your-teeth-and-endure-it rebuild, one of which Jackson believes is now over. The lake leap, Jackson said in March, will represent a fresh start for the entire organization.

“It's going to be a cleansing of the Cleveland Browns,” Jackson said at the time. “That's what it will be."
