South Lafourche (LA): Former University of Central Arkansas and Nicholls State (LA) assistant Brandon Nowlin will be the new head football coach at South Lafourche High School (LA). Nowlin will replace Dennis Skains, who last month accepted the same position with Cecilia HS (LA). Nowlin has spent time as an assistant at Iona College (NY), Adrian College (MI) and most recently at Livonia HS (LA). He was also the athletics director and head football coach at Morgan City HS (LA) from 2010-2012. South Lafourche HS (LA) is accepting applications for a varsity assistant coach who is certified in English. The teaching position will begin in the fall of 2016.
