Here's what a state-of-the-art practice facility looks like at the pro level (facilities)

Professional sports franchises are free too -- obviously -- pay their players. They also shoulder no burden to educate or house their players. The entire business model exists to play and win games, and to make as much money as possible while playing such games.

This means that pro sports organizations only have to build training facilities and playing facilities, and there is nothing stopping these clubs from making them as opulent as their budget allows.

Given that, it's interesting to look at the state-of-the-art training facilities across the major pro sports leagues and compare them to the best of the best at the college level. For instance, the Boston Celtics on Wednesday will open their new Auerbach Center, and this video offers a sneak preview.

It looks great. It also doesn't blow Clemson's or Texas A&M's or (Insert school here)'s facilities away, either.
