Georgia Tech recently shared a release detailing plans for a $4.5 million overhaul of their locker room.

Included in the renovations, according to the release, are modern visual displays, a "gear wall" featuring new Adidas gear, "enhanced audio-visual systems to keep student-athletes informed and entertained," a hydration station featuring easy to access Powerade and Core Power drinks, hot and cold tubs, upgrades to the steam room, and increased bathroom and shower capacity.

Also worth noting, all 116 exisiting lockers will get ventaliation systems to help dry pads, as well as charging ports.

Athletic director Todd Stansbury shared the following via the school's release:

"The locker room is one of the areas where football student-athletes spend their most time, so this upgrade will not only greatly benefit our current student-athletes but is also a big part of our efforts to enhance our football recruiting. We're grateful for the generous gift given by an anonymous donor that has allowed us to provide our football student-athletes with a brand-new, state-of-the-art home."

Renovations will begin this week, starting with the demolition of the current locker room set up, and should be done by the time the team opens fall camp.
