After a number of years on the staff at USC in the early 1980's, Norv Turner made the jump to the NFL in 1985 and never looked back, spending over three decades with teams in LA, Washington, San Diego, Miami, Oakland, San Francisco, Cleveland and Minnesota before resigning as the offensive coordinator of the Vikings in early November of 2016.
He spent 15 NFL seasons as a head coach, first with Washington, then in Oakland, and finally with San Diego, compiling an overall record of 114-122, including five postseason appearances (4-4 overall).
So what does a guy who spent most of his life coaching ball end up doing after he walks away from the game? Well for Norv Turner, that apparently includes trying his hand at writing country music songs.
Turner, along with Steve Mariucci's son Stephen Ray, co-wrote a song together, and coach Mariucci tweeted about it to share the news.
For those interested in hearing the song, Things I've Never Done, audio can be found in the clip, and it can also be found on iTunes and Spotify.

Turner isn't the only former head coach that has turned to music, as some will remember Rick Neuheisel's humorous parody songs.
