DeShaun Foster's immediately made a splash when he brought in former Commanders and Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy as his offensive coordinator.
According to a report today, Foster and the Bruins are targeting another veteran play caller with NFL experience for their quarterbacks job.
Matt Fortuna shares that Ted White is being targeted as the next quarterbacks coach at UCLA.
White spent the 2022 season with the Texans as an offensive assistant working with the quarterbacks.
He also has extensive experience as an offensive play caller at a number of HBCU programs.
In 2021 he served as the offensive coordinator at Grambling State, and has also held the offensive coordinator title at Prairie View A&M, Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Howard and Southern.
Between stops at Prairie View A&M and Grambling, White spent a season coaching the quarterbacks in the XFL for the DC Defenders.
Billy Fessler, who spent the past two seasons coaching the quarterbacks for Joe Moorhead at Akron, had been hired by Chip Kelly as the Bruins quarterbacks coach back in January, but with Kelly off to Ohio State and Foster now building the staff, Fessler is widely expected to work for the Bruins in another capacity.
