AFCA: Western Michigan head coach Tim Lester has been named to the AFCA's board of trustees. He replaces Lance Leipold, who relinquished his seat as the MAC representative upon leaving Buffalo for Kansas.

New Mexico Military Institute (D-II): New Mexico Military Institute announces the vacancy of the full-time, 12 month position of Godfrey Athletic Center Coordinator/ Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position is responsible for various physical fitness and conditioning oversight. The GAC Coordinator/ Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with team, group, and individual training for NMMI sport teams and all daily operational duties of the weight room. Candidate must have the ability to develop periodized training programs, a strong desire to remain cognizant of current and emerging human performance topics and the ability to demonstrate and coach the Olympic lift variations. Candidate is also required to teach HPER and activity classes as assigned. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited program and 2 years of related experience is required. Master’s degree is preferred. One or more of the following credentials: CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification is required. Annual Salary: $44,000 - $46,000. Findlay (D-II OH): The University of Findlay is seeking to hire a defensive restricted earnings coach. This position will oversee the nickle position group. San Diego (FCS): San Diego is seeking volunteer interns to work with offense and defense. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into the profession of college football. Past interns have landed GA positions at the FBS level and full-time positions at the college and high school level. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: operational tasks assigned by the head coach, opponent film breakdown/reports, operating the scout team, and working with a position coach. Candidates need to be familiar with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and DVSport. This is an unpaid position with no housing or meal plan provided. The program is also looking for a video coordinator. This is a paid position (restricted earnings; no benefits). Applicants should be computer savvy and have experience with DVSport, video editing software (i.e. FinalCut), filming football practice/games, knowledge and use of video equipment. Experience with Photoshop and an interest in graphic design are pluses. College Football Hall of Fame: The 2022 Hall of Fame ballot was released today with a number of notable names eligible as coaches and players.

Wisconsin: Wisconsin has officially announced Chris McIntosh as its new AD. “Chris is a natural leader who loves the Badgers and cares about our student-athletes,” says UW chancellor Rebecca Blank. “He is uniquely positioned to continue our proud traditions of success on and off the field and doing things ‘the right way.’ Chris will build upon those traditions and has a strong vision for leading the program during a time of change in college athletics.”

East Central (D-II - OK): East Central University is looking to hire a graduate assistant working with Defensive Backs. Must have experience coaching or playing the position.
