Western New England (D-III – MA): Western New England University is seeking applicants for an intern level assistant coach position, working with defensive line or linebackers. Responsibilities will include coaching position group, running position meetings, recruiting and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. This position is a stipend position for the spring and has the potential to become a Graduate Assistant position in the fall of 2021. Local candidates are encouraged to apply. Louisiana Tech: LA Tech has hired Perry Carter as cornerbacks coach. Carter, who spent the last three seasons at ULM, replaces Jeff Burris, who left yesterday for ULL.

Tulsa: Tulsa has named Jesse Williams its new defensive line coach. Williams has coached defensive line for the past 32 years, most recently at Eastern Kentucky (FCS).

LA Rams: Sean McVay has filled his open seven assistant coaching vacancies and announced new roles and titles for his finalized staff. The LA Times shares a run down of the new roles (all of which we have covered previously) are as follows; Raheem Morris (DC), Joe DeCamillis (STC), Kevin O'Connell (OC), Thomas Brown (RBs / assistant head coach), Kevin Carberry (OL), Zac Robinson (assistant QBs), Zak Kromer (offensive assistant), Nick Jones (offensive assistant), Chris O'Hara (offensive assistant), Eric Henderson (DL / run game coordinator), Marcus Dixon (DL assistant), Chris Shula (LBs), Thad Bogardus (assistant LBs), Ejiro Evero (secondary / pass game coordinator), Jonathan Cooley (assistant secondary), Jon Bonamego (senior coaching assistant), Dwyane Stukes (special teams assistant).

Houston Texans: After 12 seasons with the team, the Texans are parting ways with area scout Ryan Cavanaugh, and more moves on the scouting staff are expected Neil Stratton tweets.

Slippery Rock (D-II - PA): Slippery Rock University, an NCAA Division II school and member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, is seeking a Graduate Assistant Football Coach, working with the Running Backs and Tight Ends. The successful candidate needs to have playing or coaching experience on the offensive side of the ball. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required, NO EXCEPTIONS. Knowledge of using, Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point) and HUDL. We strongly encourage minority candidates to apply. This position has a paid stipend of $4.000 for the year and covers 9 credit hours per semester. Housing is not included. Start date is expected to be mid to late May 2021. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, running your own room, practice planning, film break down, player evaluation and your own recruiting area. Compliance with NCAA, PSAC, and SRU rules and regulations, practice, game preparation, conditioning, scouting, fundraising activities, academic support, promotions, organizing clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Washington: LSU defensive analyst Aaron Schwanz has accepted the same role at UW Bruce Feldman tweets.

Missouri: Tulsa defensive backs coach Aaron Fletcher is set to join the Missouri staff Mitchell Forde tweets.

LSU: Sources share with FootballScoop LSU is planning to hire Jon Belton. Belton, who played at receiver at Louisiana Tech, currently serves as a regional scout on Bronco Mendenhall's staff at Virginia.

Benedict College (D-II - SC): Jamar Mitchell, the defensive backs coach at Mandeville HS (LA), is joining the program as corners coach, per source.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have added former Fordham (FCS - NY) defensive coordinator Paul Rice, Penn State assistant recruiting coordinator for personnel Charles Walker, Clemson offensive video graduate assistant Sal Conti, and Notre Dame senior offensive analyst and assistant quarterbacks coach Patrick Kramer to analyst roles, Abilene Christian (FCS - TX) offensive line coach Mario Jebaraeel as a diversity coaching intern, and Roderick Moore Jr. and Bobby Thomas as assistant strength and conditioning coaches.

Marshall: Former Eagles tight ends coach Mike Bartrum is joining the staff as a senior analyst / special assistant to thehead coach, Doug Chapman will serve as senior analyst / director of player development, and Jessica Jefferson will be the team's director of on-campus recruiting, Bruce Feldman tweets.

USC: As USC continues to expand their recruiting and personnel staff, sources tell FootballScoop that Megan Mueller has accepted the director of recruiting operations role. Mueller most recently served as recruiting assistant at Kansas, and worked in a similar role at her alma mater, Colorado. Mueller has previous experience as an equipment manager at CU prior to moving to recruiting.

Quincy (D-II - IL): Michael Pannone, who previously served as the defensive line coach / special teams coordinator at Muskingum (D-III - OH), has accepted the defensive line job, sources tell FootballScoop. Pannone has prior coaching stops at Adrian (D-III - MI) and Grand Valley State (D-II - MI).

Louisiana Lafayette: Sources tell FootballScoop Billy Napier is planning to hire Jeff Burris as corners coach.

Cal: Geep Chryst, who previously coached the tight ends for the Broncos from 2017-18, has been announced as the new tight ends coach at Cal. This is Chryst's first job back at the college level since 1990, when he worked with the quarterbacks at Wyoming.

Bluefield State (D-II - WV): Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Jermaine Gales has been promoted to assistant head coach.

Michigan: Michigan has formally announced Matt Weiss as its new quarterbacks coach.

Florida State: FSU paid Willie Taggart nearly as much not to coach as it paid Mike Norvell in 2020.
