Jacksonville State: Charles Kelly's offensive staff is coming together and, yeah, its loaded.
Virginia State (D-II): Head coach Dr. Henry Frazier has signed a 5-year extension. He led the Trojans to a 7-4 finish this past fall and were 8-2 in 2023.
Marshall: Sources tell FootballScoop Tony Gibson's staff continues to come together with the additions of Theron Aych as receivers coach, Jake Ellsworth as linebackers coach and Dwight Galt as head strength coach.
Drake (FCS - IA): Drake has hired Joe Woodley, two days removed from winning an NAIA national championship at Grand View, as its new head coach.
Oklahoma Panhandle State (NAIA): OPSU is in search of an offensive assistant football coach. We are looking for the best overall fit so will evaluate all candidates regardless of positions previously coached. The salary is 16,000 and comes with a housing. This is a non-benefitted position. Ohio: Brian Smith has announced a number of updates to the staff including defensive coordinator John Hauser adding associate head coach, the promotion of quarterbacks coach Scott Isphording to offensive coordinator, receivers coach Andre Allen, defensive line coach Tremayne Scott and corners coach / director of player development De'Angelo Smith will continue in their roles.
Hinds CC (JC - MS): Starkville HS (MS) head coach Chris Jones has accepted the head coaching job.
NCAA: The NCAA has granted an extra year of eligibility to hundreds and hundreds of college football players whose careers were set to end. Details here.
Sacramento State (FCS - CA): Per source, UNLV offensive analyst / quarterbacks coach Ken Merchant - who served as the teams play caller in last week’s LA bowl win - will be headed to Sac State with Brennan Marion as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Virginia Tech: Former West Virginia offensive line coach Matt Moore has joined the staff coaching the offensive line. Moore was on staff with Neal Brown at both Troy and West Virginia.
Charlotte: UCLA assistant director for football performance Jacob Miller is joining Tim Albin's Charlotte staff as head strength coach, sources tell FootballScoop. Miller previously worked as the director of strength and conditioning for Ohio's football program.
Sacramento State (FCS): Head coach Brennan Marion has retained associate head coach / run game coordinator / offensive line coach Kris Richardson and associate head coach / offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Bobby Fresques.
Colorado State: Alex Collins has accepted a role to become the program's first ever GM after spending the past few seasons at Ole Miss, most recently as assistant AD for recruiting operations.
Purdue: Akron safeties coach Neal Renna is joining the staff as a defensive analyst, per Tom Dienhart.

Ferrum (D-III - VA): Ferrum College is looking for its next Assistant Football Coach that will serve as defensive line coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position that reports directly to the Head Football Coach. Education/Experiences:A bachelor’s degree, collegiate playing experience and prior coaching experience is preferred. The candidate must be able to work independently and have the ability to work occasionally on evenings and weekends throughout the year to accomplish the tasks necessary for success in this field. The successful candidate must be committed to working and teaching within an environment that embraces the development of students around their education, cultural diversity, mental health awareness and NCAA and ODAC compliance.
