Alabama: Miami defensive coordinator Kevin Steele has accepted the defensive coordinator job, Chris Low tweets tonight. We wrote about Steele's emergence as a candidate for the Tide yesterday.
Carolina Panthers: Frank Reich has landed former Broncos defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero as his new defensive coordinator. Evero interviewed for a number of the NFL head coaching openings the past few weeks.
VMI (FCS): Chris Moore, who most recently coordinated the special teams for VMI, has accepted the head coaching job at Amherst County HS (VA). Moore is an alumnus of Amherst County HS.
Linfield (D-III - OR): Linfield University is seeking an Assistant Football Coach to work with the Defensive Backs or Linebackers. Strength and Conditioning background is preferred. The Assistant Football Coach assists the head football coach and participates in recruiting high school and transfer athletes for the college's football program. The Assistant Football Coach supervises and coordinates either Defensive Backs or Linebackers. Other duties as assigned by the head football coach or athletic director. Alabama: Sources tell FootballScoop that a former Tide defensive coordinator candidate has again emerged in new defensive coordinator search.
Minnesota Vikings: The Broncos are releasing Ejiro Evero from his contract and "all signs point" to Evero becoming the Vikings new defensive coordinator, Mike Klis tweets.
Arizona Cardinals: Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo will get a second interview with the Cardinals, Mike Garafolo tweets, and Ian Rapoport adds that Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will also get a second interview.
Southeast Missouri State (FCS): Kevon Beckwith has been named the defensive line coach at Southeast Missouri State. Beckwith coached last season at Incarnate Word where they ranked #1 in TFLs and #4 in sacks nationally.
Albany State (D-II - GA): Albany State University is looking to fill 2 Restricted earnings positions available at RBs and DBs or best fit.
