Houston Texans: Offensive assistant DeNarius McGhee’s contract expired and he will not be retained sources tell FootballScoop. McGhee worked with the offensive line and receivers for one season and quarterbacks for two.
Fairmont State (DII- WV): Luke Barker, offensive coordinator from the University of Charleston (WV) has been named head coach. Barker, 33, just finished his third season at Charleston. In '23, Barker's offense led the conference in scoring, yards, touchdowns and several other categories. Prior to Charleston, Barker was assistant head coach / running backs and tight ends at Indiana University of Pennsylvania over six seasons.
Penn State: Sources tell FootballScoop James Franklin is hiring Keith Bruno as special teams analyst.
Chicago: The Bears are hiring Eric Washington as defensive coordinator. Washington has coached the Bills defensive line the past few seasons.
South Carolina: Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks are hiring veteran Joe DeCamillis as special teams coordinator, replacing Pete Lembo who was just hired as head coach at Buffalo. Tom Pelissero first reported the news. FootballScoop has confirmed. DeCamillis spent this past season at Texas in an off the field capacity.
Ole Miss: Illinois receivers coach George MacDonald is expected to become receivers coach at Ole Miss.
Utah Tech: Taylor Kolste has joined the staff as receivers coach.
Mississippi State: Sources tell FootballScoop Jeff Lebby's latest hire is a coach from Youngstown State.
Norfolk State (FCS - VA): Sources tell FootballScoop Dawson Odums is hiring Jason Phillips as his new offensive coordinator at Norfolk State.
Michigan: Michigan has made it official, Sherrone Moore is now head coach.
Jacksonville State: Rich Rod is hiring Luke Olson as his new defensive coordinator sources share. Olson, the former defensive coordinator at Tulsa, spent this past season as an analyst at TCU.
Geneva (D-III - PA): Source shares with FootballScoop Tim Taylor has accepted the offensive coordinator position. Taylor has served in the same position at Madison County High School (Georgia) for the last three seasons.

Hope they didn't sell the house yet!
