Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are hiring Dan Quinn as their new defensive coordinator. Update: The team has announced the hire. Illinois: Bret Bielema is adding former Arizona outside linebackers coach Andy Buh to his staff as linebackers coach. In addition to his time at Arizona, Buh has coached at Rutgers, Maryland, Kentucky, Cal, Wisconsin (with Bielema), Nevada, Stanford and San Diego State including seven seasons as a defensive coordinator. Coaching decisions:Best & Worst coaching decisions - Week 18 (via EdjVarsity) New York Jets: Saints defensive backs coach Aaron Glenn has completed his interview fort he head coaching job. Detroit Lions: The Lions have complete their interview with Saints assistant head coach / tight ends coach Dan Campbell for their head coaching job. Rochester Community and Technical (JC - MN): Rochester Community & Technical College is looking to hire three coaches (Wide Receivers, OC, and DC). Air Raid or spread offense considered Multiple Defense considered. Special Teams Coordinator is a possibility for the right candidate. These are part-time temporary positions that pay an in-season stipend. Responsibilities include coaching position group, running position meetings, Hudl input, strength & conditioning duties, and recruiting obligations. Louisiana Monroe: As we previously reported a week ago, Zac Alley has now been announced as defensive coordinator / linebackers coach. NCAA: The NCAA's Division I Council has tabled votes on the NIL rule and the one-time transfer exception, tweets Jeff Goodman. Both rules were expected to pass this month. Texas: Steve Sarkisian told Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman that Andre Coleman will be retained as wide receivers coach. He also confirmed Stan Drayton will remain running backs coach, as Drayton himself had already announced, and Blake Gideon to work with the safeties, as we first reported. Maryland: Maryland has announced Dan Enos as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach and Brian Braswell as offensive line coach. Defensive line coach Brian Williams has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator. Abilene Christian (FCS): Abilene Christian is no longer accepting applicants for the defensive intern position. Thanks to everyone for the overwhelming interest. Kansas: Newly hired offensive line coach Lee Grimes' deal with the Jayhawks is guaranteed for the first two years, with an option by Kansas over the next four years of the deal, KUSports.com details. Grimes will make a base salary of $175k. If Grimes were to leave for another job, Kansas would be owed $350k and the only way Grimes could leave without a buyout is if he was hired as the head coach of an FBS program. Should KU fire him without cause, he would be owed the remainder of his salary. Philadelphia:Doug Pederson will not return as head coach. The team has characterized the move as a parting of ways. Seattle Seahawks: Pete Carroll shared with reporters today that offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer will be back next season. Arizona State: Herm Edwards shares that, in the event that co-defensive coordinator Marvin Lewis were to leave after interviewing for a number of NFL opportunities, linebackers coach Antonio Pierce "will probably be the defensive coordinator," according to Doug Haller.College Football Hall of Fame: This year's College Football Hall of Fame class features two coaches (one of whom is Bob Stoops) and 11 players.Purdue: Mark Hagen will be the Boilermakers' defensive line coach, according to multiple reports. It'll be his second stint in West Lafayette, having coached multiple defensive spots over an 11-year run from 2000-10. Hagen spent 2016-19 at Indiana and 2020 at Texas.

Susquehanna (D-III - PA) Susquehanna is seeking an assistant coach – Intern (DL). Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching at the college level. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Salary will be $12,000 and includes medical benefits and some meals. No housing. Candidates will be expected to be here 10 months. Arkansas State: Spencer Grubbs, who spent last season as the director of recruiting at Austin Peay (FCS - TN) and spent two seasons prior to that at Old Dominion in the same role, has joined Butch Jones' staff. Susquehanna (D-III – PA): Susquehanna University seeks an assistant football coach working with the Quarterbacks. Philadelphia Eagles: Doug Pederson has been pushing to upgrade his coordinator spots, and reports the last few weeks have stated how he would like to keep things internal and Jeff McLane tweets today that on top of promoting quarterbacks coach / passing game coordinator Press Taylor to offensive coordinator, Pederson has also made suggestions to team owner Jeffrey Lurie to promote defensive line coach Matt Burke to defensive coordinator or bring former defensive backs coach Cory Undlin (who spent last season as the defensive coordinator for the Lions) back as defensive coordinator, and to move Andrew Breiner from pass game analyst to quarterbacks coach. UC Davis (FCS): With Tim Plough off to Boise State, Dan Hawkins is promoting assistant DFO / recruiting and wide receivers coach Cody Hawkins to offensive coordinator and assistant offensive line coach Mike Cody will become the team's new receivers coach. Houston Texans: PFT shares that "a buzz in building" that former Lions and Colts head coach Jim Caldwell could be the next head coach of the Texans. NFL Draft: Two teams have just been awarded HUGE advantages in the NFL Draft.Dan Quinn: DQ now the favorite to land the Cowboys' defensive coordinator job.Las Vegas Raiders: Owner Mark Davis told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he "absolutely" has faith in Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock to continue leading the team. Atlanta Falcons: Jeff Schultz tweets that a pairing of Saints assistant GM Terry Fontenot as the team's GM and Panthers OC Joe Brady as head coach is "gaining steam" but "isn't there yet." Arthur Smith: The Titans offensive coordinator interviewed with the Jaguars on Sunday and is scheduled to interview today with the Jets, Falcons and Chargers and then the Lions on Tuesday. Richmond (FCS - VA): The University of Richmond is currently accepting applications for one unpaid Offensive volunteer coach to begin ASAP. Responsibilities will include assisting with the on field coaching of a position group, film break down, self-scout, opponent scout, assisting in game planning, and day-to-day responsibilities as assigned by the Offensive Coordinator. Previous football experience preferred as well as knowledge of PowerPoint, DVSport, Excel, and Visio. Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree program. Experience competing in intercollegiate or experience working in a collegiate football program is a plus. This position does not provide any stipend, benefits, or housing. However, you will receive experience working in a Division I program, have the potential to earn a paid position, and earn recommendations for future career opportunities. Illinois: Purdue defensive line coach Terrance Jamison has been named to the same post for the Illini.

Boise State: Per multiple reports, UC Davis (FCS) offensive coordinator Tim Plough will be the new offensive coordinator for Andy Avalos at Boise State.

Missouri Valley (NAIA – MO): Missouri Valley College, located in Marshall, MO is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant working with the defensive side of the football. Compensation includes room, meal plan, and tuition (no stipend). Position includes but is not limited to: working with a defensive position group (will determine based off of applicants experience), assist with aspects of special teams, video editing (HUDL), managing a recruiting area, computer skills, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Briar Cliff (NAIA - IA): Sources tell FootballScoop that Illinois College (D-III) defensive coordinator Lee Tenenoff has joined Briar Cliff staff in the same capacity.

McNeese State (FCS - LA): McNeese State University is seeking a volunteer Offensive Line intern. Responsibilities include: assisting with a position on the field and in the meeting room, video editing, film sharing, coordinate scout teams, film breakdown, weekly analytics, and other duties assigned by the offensive coordinator. Ideal candidates are detail orientated and have knowledge in XOS/video editing, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio. Candidates who have playing or coaching experience on the offensive line are preferred. All interested and qualified applicants should email their resume and references to ctruax@mcneese.edu.
