Cal Poly (FCS): Cal Poly will announce tomorrow they are promoting from within for their new head coach.

Kent State: Sources tell FootballScoop outgoing Kent State head coach is bringing a key assistant with him to Colorado; and made his pitch for the man to replace him. 

Frank Scelfo: Amid discussions with Lamar to become their head coach, Southeastern (FCS) has stepped up to work out a new deal to keep Scelfo in Hammond, LA.

Charlotte: Sources tell FootballScoop Baltimore Ravens defensive assistant Ryan Osborn is expect to become Biff Poggi's defensive coordinator. Bruce Feldman first reported it publicly. Feldman adds LSU defensive grad assistant Greer Martini is expected to become the linebackers coach at Charlotte. 

Tulsa: Kevin Wilson has now agreed to become head coach at Tulsa

Colorado: Coach Prime is reportedly targeting an FBS head coach to coordinate his offense in Boulder. Sources tell FootballScoop this is happening.

South Florida: Former Houston, Texas and USC defensive coordinator Todd Orlando will assume the same role for Alex Golesh's new USF staff, tweets Pete Thamel. 

Old Dominion: Kevin Decker has been hired as the Monarchs’ new offensive coordinator and Alex Huettel as offensive line coach. Both come from Fordham.

Cincinnati: Scott Satterfield has a six-year deal worth $3.4 million the first season with annual raises of $100k and the assistant salary pool will be $7.25 million, per a release.

Shippensburg (D-II - PA): Shippensburg is immediately seeking to hire a full-time offensive coordinator / quarterback coach. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-teaching position. Responsible for coordinating the offense and coaching the quarterbacks. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of collegiate coaching experience. Experience in being an offensive coordinator is preferred. Experience in coaching quarterbacks is required. Applicants must possess effective communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population. BYU: Head coach Kalani Sitake shares today that he will serve as interim defensive coordinator for the bowl game.

Tulsa: Ohio State offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson is the current target of the search. This one is expected to play out today. 

Cincinnati: Scott Satterfield shares that he would like to retain interim head coach / special teams coordinator Kerry Coombs. Satterfield will have a salary pool of over $7 million for staff, per multiple reports.

Colorado: FAU coordinator of player personnel David Kelly is joining Prime's staff, per FAU Owls Nest.

Louisville: Deion Branch will serve as the team's interim head coach for their bowl game.

UTSA: With Will Stein off to Oregon, UTSA has promoted tight ends coach/special teams coordinator Justin Burke to co-offensive coordinator.

Oregon: The Ducks are expected to hire UTSA co-offensive coordinator Will Stein per multiple reports.

Carolina Panthers: Central Michigan defensive line coach Ian Scott is leaving for an opportunity with the Panthers.

Iowa State: Run game coordinator / running backs coach Nate Scheelhaase has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Also, Campbell is making additional changes. More on the goings on in Ames here

Monroe College (JC - NY): Monroe College Football program is looking to fill (2) graduate assistant openings on their staff. The openings are on each side of the ball and will be selected by the best candidate regardless of position. Duties will include position coaching, game preparation, and additional assignments by the head coach. Applicant must be able to gain acceptance into our graduate program. College coaching experience is a plus but not required. Potential candidates should provide a resume with references to Head Coach Kevin Pulley via email at: kpulley@monroecollege.edu. Cincinnati: Sources tell FootballScoop Cincinnati is planning to hire Louisville head coach Scott Satterfield. Yep, this is happening. 

Central Arkansas (FCS): The University of Central Arkansas has an opening for a graduate assistant working in the equipment room. Applicants should have prior experience working in a collegiate equipment room. Interested individuals should send a resume and references to Director of Equipment Operations, Zach Brady at Zbrady1@uca.edu.

Marian (NAIA - IN): Head coach Mark Henninger has stepped down to accept a new role as the Assistant Director of Athletics at Marian. Henninger went an impressive 92-23 since taking over the program in 2013, including a national title in 2015 and two runner-up finishes.

Upper Iowa (D-II): Upper Iowa University invites applications for a Graduate Assistant on the offensive side of the ball. Duties include coaching a position, maintaining a recruiting area, and helping with the operations of the football program This is a 10-month position. Candidates must be admitted into graduate school and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Compensation includes 6 credits per semester and a $1,000 monthly stipend. Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (JC): Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College is looking to hire a Defensive Coordinator/Strength & Conditioning coach. This position will coach a defensive position. Overseeing the Defensive staff, Defensive game planning, team discipline, strength & conditioning, recruiting, film duties, practice planning, equipment, on field coaching, study hall, and any other duties assigned by the head coach will be tied in with this position. FAU: Texas director of operations Matt Smidebush is going back to work with Tom Herman at FAU shares Pete Thamel. Smidebush worked with Herman at both Texas and Houston. 

Ohio Dominican (D-II): Ohio Dominican is seeking an Offensive Graduate Assistant Tight End Coach. Responsibilities include assisting the Offensive Coordinator, Coaching the Tight End Position, and Recruiting. Review of applicants will begin immediately. Must be able to relocate and enroll into classes in January. Lyon (D-III - AR): Lyon College invites applications for an assistant football coach (restricted earnings / defensive backs) effective immediately. The primary responsibilities are assisting in practice and game preparation, breakdown film and provide scouting reports, recruiting academic and athletically gifted students, maintain working knowledge of NCAA D3 and Lyon College policies and procedures, provide instruction to student-athletes through practice or film review and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Applicants must have successful coaching experience and an understanding (experience preferred) of recruiting student athletes at a small, liberal arts college. BYU: Kelly Poppinga, who spent the last fall at Boise State as edge coach and co-special teams coordinator, is expected to join the BYU staff. 

Oregon: Analyst Jordan Somerville is stepping in as quarterbacks coach for the bowl game, per Matt Prehm. 

Wagner (FCS - NY): Kamau Dumas, who coached the corners at Gannon (D-II - PA) last season, has joined the staff as defensive backs coach.

Arizona State: ASU is pulling another defensive staffer from Washington State sources tell FootballScoop.

Lincoln (D-II - MO): The Lincoln University (Missouri) Blue Tigers Football Team has 4 Graduate Assistant openings starting in the Spring of 2023. Each position includes full-time graduate tuition, some meals, and an $8,000 stipend (divided out monthly). Graduate Assistants will coach their own position group, run meetings, plan practice, work with special teams, and handle other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators. Candidates must have an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher, and gain entrance to Lincoln University Graduate School.
