Michigan: Michigan has issued new contracts, raises to both coordinators.

Defensive Coordinator Salaries: While we're at it, here's an updated look at the defensive coordinator salary market.

Amherst College (D-III - MA): Norfolk State offensive quality control Hudson Alexander has accepted the running backs / tight ends position at Amherst source tells FootballScoop.

South Florida: James Thomson joined the staff in March as director of internal recruiting. Thomson had stepped down as Winter Haven (FL) head coach in January.

Dodge City (JC-KS): The Dodge City Football program has a great opportunity for football coaches looking to break into the college ranks. The program is looking to fill one coaching position on offense, this will be at either tight end or running back. Job duties include coaching your own position group, film breakdown, recruiting, and other tasks assigned by the head football coach. Meals and housing will be provided. At this time there is no financial compensation for this position. Must have high school coaching experience. Dodge City CC is a member of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. Salaries: A look at market salaries for defensive coordinators these days.

Arkansas-Monticello (D-II): University of Arkansas-Monticello is looking for a receivers grad assistant. Please contact offensive coordinator Josh Qualls via jqualls1095@gmail.com if interested. Thank you.

Alfred State (D-III – NY): Alfred State College is seeking applicants for an offensive intern coaching position. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing, and/or coaching. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), as well as other duties assigned by the head football coach. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. This position comes with an $11,500 stipend over the course of ten months, and a tuition waiver for one graduate class per semester (including winter term), at any State University of New York institution (preferably online classes). A limited number of meals are provided, as well as access to very affordable housing. UCF: Offensive line coach Herb Hand has added co-offensive coordinator title as well.

Arkansas Monticello: Cumberland University co-offensive coordinator Josh Qualls has accepted the offensive coordinator position at UAM. Qualls fills the spot previously occupied by Tristan Speer who left to become offensive coordinator at Iowa Western.

Allegheny (D-III - PA): Matt Hanhold has been elevated to defensive coordinator on Coach Layers' staff at Allegheny College. Hanhold was the previous Defensive Coordinator and Interim Head Coach at Clarion with stops at Baldwin Wallace as the Special Teams Coordinator and at Colby College as the Associate Head Coach.

Catawba (D-II - NC): Jordan Softcheck has been named offensive coordinator / quarterbacks.

Bethel (NAIA - TN): Bethel football is looking for a Graphic Design/Social Media Student/Graduate Assistant. Responsibilities will include generating graphics, formulating a weekly social media plan, and facilitating on-campus recruiting visits. University of Buffalo: Outside linebackers / special teams coordinator Robert Wright is being promoted to defensive coordinator FootballScoop has learned and Mike Caputo is joining the staff as safeties coach Matt Zenitz has shared. Applicants need to be experienced with Hudl, Excel, and Microsoft Power Point. This position is directed towards someone who is trying to begin a career in the coaching profession. This position will provide valuable experience and references for future opportunities. Previous coaches have used this position to springboard their careers to graduate assistants at 4 year schools, as well as coordinator position’s at the college and high school level.
