Nebraska: Nebraska Athletics announced significant cost cutting today including furloughing 51 department members through the end of the year, an across the board 10% salary reduction for all of department staff and eliminating the athletics' training table. Students who live off campus will get an increased check each month for food, students who live on campus will now use the regular dining halls shares Sean Callahan.

NAIA: The NAIA Football National Championship has been rescheduled to occur on a Monday for the first time. The championship will remain at Eddie G. Robinson Stadium at Grambling State University and will take place on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. CT.
Louisiana-Monroe: ULM has paused all football activity after nine cases appeared on the team. AD Scott McDonald told the Monroe News-Star he hopes the team can resume practice next week, pending further test results. ULM is scheduled to open its season at Troy on Sept. 5.
Tulsa: The Golden Hurricane will return to practice today following a 9-day break resulting from eight positive tests. All players eligible to practice have tested negative twice in the past seven days.
