UCF offensive coordinator Tim Harris, Jr., is joining Gus Mazlahn at Florida State as wide receivers coach, according to a report Thursday from Brandon Marcello of CBS Sports.
Harris also coached wide receivers for the Knights in 2024. A former Florida high school coach, Harris broke into college as a running backs coach for Florida International in 2015, and later held similar positions at UCF and Miami.
Harris was a finalist for the FIU head coaching position that went to former Florida A&M head coach Willie Simmons.
Harris is the second former UCF assistant to follow Malzahn from Orlando to Tallahassee. Offensive line coach Herb Hand was hired to the same post earlier this week.
