Boise State reportedly set to add former Big Ten coordinator to staff (Stacy Collins)

Boise State's Spencer Danielson is set to bring a veteran coach to his staff who has Big Ten coordinator experience, according to a report this morning.

Adam Rittenberg tweets that former Penn State assistant Stacy Collins is heading west to be the Broncos new special teams coordinator / lineabckers coach / assistant head coach.

Collins spent the past two seasons on James Franklin's staff in Happy Valley as special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach.

Before joining the Nittany Loins, he coached at Boise State and previously spent five seasons on staff at Utah State as well where he coordinated both special teams and served as co-defensive coordinator his final season in Logan.

The job at Boise State marks a return to the region he's spent the majority of his coaching career with stops at Western Oregon, Southern Oregon, Idaho State, South Dakota Mines, Idaho State, Central Washington, and Portland State.
