Chicago: The Bears have interviewed former Stanford head coach David Shaw for their head coaching opening. 

Northern Illinois: Charleston (D-II - WV) offensive coordinator Quinn Sanders is joining the NIU staff in the same capacity. 

South Dakota State (FCS): Sam Houston offensive line coach Mike Bangston has been named offensive line coach at SDSU. 

Colorado: Deion Sanders is promoting Michael Pollock from an offensive analyst role to special teams coordinator. 

Nevada: Quarterbacks coach David Gilbertson has been promoted to offensive coordinator. 

Abilene Christian (FCS - TX): Northern Colorado corners coach DJ Williams is headed to Abilene Christian in the same capacity ESPN has shared. 

Coastal Carolina: This morning we shared that Tim Beck was planning to overhaul his staff. Now we can share some of the pieces that are coming together

Tennessee Tech (FCS - TN): Tennessee Tech University has an opening for a RB Coach position. This is a full time position with benefits. The Ideal candidate must be highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and other computer skills. Previous experience in playing or coaching RB's is preferred. Delaware: Head coach Ryan Carty has received an extension through the 2030 season. 

Texas Tech: Wofford College (FCS - SC) defensive coordinator Jack Teachey is joining the Texas Tech staff as senior defensive analyst. Teachey and defensive coordinator Shiel Wood have extensive history together. 

Edinboro (D-II - PA): New Haven defensive coordinator Matthew Scott has been named head coach at Edinboro. 

Pete Carroll: Pete spent yesterday interviewing with the Raiders Jeremy Fowler has shared. 

Oklahoma State: Gunnar Gundy has joined the staff as a quality control assisting with the quarterbacks. 

Eastern Washington (FCS): Eastern Washginton University is looking to hire an Offensive Quality Control Coach. This individual will assist the Offensive Line Coach and coaching staff in day-to-day operations and will assist in offensive recruiting logistics and recruiting organization. They will also work directly with the Offensive Line position group in practices and meetings. This position pays $1,000 per month, and housing is not included. Cleveland: The Browns are promoting Tommy Rees to offensive coordinator multiple outlets are reporting today. Rees served as tight ends / pass game coordinator this season and previously called the offense at both Notre Dame and Alabama. 

Indiana State (FCS): Texas Tech staffer Tito Overton is joining the staff as receivers coach. 

Tulane: LSU offensive line grad assistant Kanan Ray is joining Tulane's staff as assistant offensive line coach. 

Coastal Carolina: Significant additional changes are coming on Tim Beck's staff. 

Transfer Portal: FBS head coaches at the AFCA convention unanimously approved an overhaul to the transfer portal calendar. What do they want, and what happens now?

Wink Martindale: In addition to the Falcons (reported below), Tom Pelissero adds the Colts plan to interview Wink tomorrow and the Bengals might also be interested. If Wink were to take another job, he would owe Michigan $350,000 to buyout of his contract. 

Mike Zimmer: Jeff Darlington is reporting Zimmer, 68, is contemplating retiring. Zimmer served as defensive coordinator for the Cowboys this season. 

North Carolina: Steve Belichick is bringing an assistant with him from Washington, multiple reports say.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons are interviewing Michigan defensive coordinator Wink Martindale for their defensive coordinator opening Jonathan Jones has reported. This was Wink's first season at Michigan. He previously has served as defensive coordinator of the Giants, Ravens, and Broncos.  

New York Jets: The Jets have requested to interview Commanders defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr per Tom Pelissero. 

Troy: Gerad Parker is hiring Tyler Hancock as his new special teams coordinator sources tell FootballScoop. 

UVA-Wise (D-II): Head coach Gary Bass has made a few changes to the staff, hiring Elijah Norris as defensive line coach and Riley Bodine as tight ends. Additionally, linebackers coach Michael Gould is adding defensive run game coordinator title and quarterbacks coach Jackson McFarlane will now also handle special teams. 

Florida A&M (FCS): After a 7-5 first-year campaign under James Colzie, the Rattlers continue to retool their staff going into 2025. Colzie has added veteran assistant coach Kevin Maurice to the FAMU staff as the program's running backs coach and recruiting coordinator. Cedric Williams joins the staff as the Rattlers' co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. 

Dean College (D-III - MA): Dean College Football is currently seeking two full-time coaches, one on each side of the ball. These are 12 month, salary/benefited jobs. All Positions will be considered, looking for best fit. For the right candidates, Special Teams Coordinator or Recruiting Coordinator possible. Minimum qualifications include Bachelor’s degree and successful coaching, playing, and/or teaching experience. Duties include: coaching your own room, recruiting a designated area, film breakdown, assist coordinators with gameplans and practice plans, and anything else assigned by the Head Coach. Tulane: Former Southern Miss head coach Will Hall has now officially been announced as passing game coordinator for the Green Wave. 

Missouri State (FCS): Missouri State Football is looking to hire a defensive graduate assistant. The candidate must have a 3.0 gpa as an undergrad. Florida A&M (FCS): Kevin Maurice is joining the FAMU staff as running backs / recruiting coordinator. Maurice, a well respected running backs coach, is also coming from North Carolina Central. 

Green Bay Packers: Packers' quarterbacks coach Tom Clements is retiring. Congrats on an impactful career, Tom. 

Holmes (CC - MS): Source tells FootballScoop former Southwest offensive line coach Jermaine Jones Jr. is planning to join the staff at Holmes coaching their offensive line. 

Las Vegas Raiders: Tampa assistant general manager John Spytek will interview for the Raiders' GM position multiple outlets have reported. 

Chicago Bears: The Bears intend to interview former Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy tomorrow Jonathan Jones has reported. 

Florida A&M (FCS): Western Illinois receivers coach Vincent Jefferies is joining the FAMU staff as receivers / passing game coordinator sources share. 

Purdue: Travis Monken and David Spurlock have joined Barry Odom's staff, Tom Dienhart has reported. Monken, who previously served as a student assistant at Oklahoma State, will serve as an offensive quality control and Spurlock, who was an offensive analyst at Georgia State this past season, will serve as an analyst working with the tight ends. 

Ferris State (D-II - MI): Mississippi Delta offensive line / run game coordinator Jordon Meyer is joining the Ferris State staff, assisting with offensive line and tight ends. 

Tennessee Tech (FCS - TN): Tennessee Tech University has an opening for an Assistant OL Coach position. This position includes a $1,000 monthly stipend; there is NO housing OR benefits with occasional meals and potential to earn camp money. The Ideal candidates must be highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and other computer skills. Previous experience in playing or coaching OL is preferred. Drake (FCS - IA): Sources tell FootballScoop the two remaining coaches from Todd Sepsis' conference champion staff have been let go. Receivers coach / pass game coordinator Adam Gajo and assistant defensive line coach / special teams Michael Day are both now seeking new opportunities. 

New Haven (D-II - CT): The Defensive Coordinator job at the University of New Haven is open. Competitive salary and full time benefits. Job will be filled quickly. Elmhurst (D-III – IL): Elmhurst University is accepting applications to be their next head football coach. Elmhurst University is a Division III institution located in the suburbs of Chicago and competes in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers interviewed Noah Pauley for their offensive coordinator position. Yes, the Noah Pauley who prior winners selected as the 2024 FootballScoop Receivers Coach of the Year.

Stetson (FCS - FL): Stetson University is looking for Offense, Defense, and Special Teams volunteer assistants. These are strictly VOLUNTEER positions; there is no compensation or housing. These positions will include but limited to on the field coaching, breakdown of opponent film (DVSport), scouting reports, practice organization, day to day operations with recruiting, and all other responsibilities delegated from the Head Coach. These are entry level positions to gain valuable experience with a Division I Program and grow your network within the profession. This is an upaid position and can begin as soon as possible. New Mexico: Jason Eck is bringing former MAC offensive coordinator Jared Elliott to New Mexico sources share.

North Carolina Central (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop Coastal Carolina offensive analyst Mac DieuDonne is headed to North Carolina Central as their new offensive line coach.

Western Kentucky: Abilene Christian assistant quarterbacks coach Matthew Giampa is being hired as offensive quality control / assistant quarterbacks coach source shares. Giampa was with new WKU co-offensive coordinator Rick Bowie at Abilene Christian and prior to that at Valdosta State.

Texas Tech: Inside linebackers coach Josh Bookbinder shared today that he will not be returning to TTU and is seeking his next position. Bookbinder has served these three years with Joey McGuire at TTU and the two previously worked together at Baylor as well.

Idaho State (FCS): Idaho State football is currently accepting applications for a Video Coordinator. Candidates should be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, and have an interest in gaining direct work experience at the Division I FCS Level and in the Big Sky Conference. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: plan and oversee the filming of all practices and competitions, edit and distribute all video via Catapult Thunder editing software, recruit and manage a team of video student managers, maintain the GameStrat Replay System, and other duties as assigned. Candidates must have a strong background using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, Visio Candidates will receive compensation of 20K.
