Indiana University of Pennsylvania (D-II): Indiana University of PA is currently accepting applications for Intern Strength and Conditioning Coaches for the Fall ‘26 academic semester starting August 24th and concluding mid-December. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Assist in all aspects of the strength and conditioning department, including assisting with Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, other Olympic teams, attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities, data input and upkeep, weekly professional development & any other tasks assignment by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Minimum Qualifications: CPR / AED Certification. Attained or working towards a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship experience. CSCS, SCCC, or USAW L1 Certification(s). This internship is designed to prepare you for the next step in your career, most likely a graduate assistant position. Interns who excel will have the opportunity to stay on the following academic year as a Graduate Assistant at IUP. Those interested in GA opportunities can reach out to Coach Bare directly.
