Saint Xavier (NAIA - IL): Saint Xavier University is currently accepting applications for Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position pays $35,000 with BENEFITS. RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting the Head of Strength & Conditioning for multiple sports, with the ability of running your own program with teams assigned to them by the Head Strength Coach. This position will assist in all facets of testing, tracking, screening, and data collection. This position will also assist with the utilization of various technologies and methods to collect key information as it relates to athlete development. Maintain a safe and effective weight room with a focus on health and welfare of the student athlete. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a collegiate strength and conditioning certified coach along with experience under a certified strength coach. In addition, candidates must possess CSCS (through NSCA) or SCCC (through CSCCa) certification plus CPR/AED certification. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
