Mike Jasper, who posted consecutive 11-win seasons atop NAIA program Bethel (TN) in 2022-23, is getting his first chance to lead an NCAA program.
Multiple sources tell FootballScoop that Jasper is being tabbed as the new head coach at FCS program Stetson in Florida.
A former Buffalo Bills Draft pick who also spent time with NFL franchises Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers and New York Giants, Jasper has been a mainstay for a decade-plus at Bethel, his alma mater.
He was a top offensive assistant for several years before he took over as head coach and proceeded to win 40 games.
Stetson, which relaunched football in 2013, is seeking its first winning season in five years.
The FCS program, which competes in the Pioneer League and awards academic and needs-based scholarships, was just a combined 5-17 across the 2023-24 seasons.
