Sources: Ohio State adding up-and-coming coach to offensive staff (Ohio State)

Ryan Day's got a national championship, a lucrative new contract and much of his rebuilt Ohio State coaching staff in place.

Sources tell FootballScoop that the Buckeyes are adding Colin Keanu to their offensive staff.

Per sources, Keanu -- most recently with a brief stint as the Western Illinois wideouts coach -- is set to fill an offensive analyst role for Ohio State.

Keanu, previously on staff at the University of Nevada, worked with wideouts and quarterbacks for the Wolf Pack.

The Buckeyes have had significant staff changes in the month since they dispatched Notre Dame to win the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff title.

Broyles Award finalist Jim Knowles exited his post as defensive coordinator for the same job at Penn State.

On the offensive side of the ball, Chip Kelly returned to the NFL, where he's now the offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders. Heralded young offensive line coach Justin Frye was hired away from Ohio State to coach the line for the Arizona Cardinals.

Frye is reunited there with former Ohio State star tackle Paris Johnson Jr.
