Source tells FootballScoop Billy Napier's staff is losing two staff members to Power 5 opportunities.

Outside linebackers / special teams coordinator Matt Powledge is heading to Baylor source tells FootballScoop. Source tells FootballScoop Powledge is expected to coach safeties and coordinator special teams for Dave Aranda at Baylor.

Director of on-campus recruiting Katie Turner has accepted the opportunity to join Georgia's staff in a senior recruiting role we are told. Turner did her undergrad work at Alabama. She has experience at Alabama and with the Buffalo Bills as well.

Powledge previously coached tight ends and served as special teams coordinator for ULM from 2016-17. Prior to ULM, Powledge spent two seasons at Sam Houston State where he led his alma mater to arguably its best special teams season of all-time.

Napier's squad finished the season 11-3. They lost week one vs Mississippi State and then vs. App State and at App State (in the conference championship game).
