A season full of struggles was permitted to run it's course, but at the end of the season, owner Shad Khan made the decision to part ways with head coach Doug Pederson after three seasons.
The success Pederson enjoyed as the head coach in Philly, leading them to a Super Bowl LII title, never carried over to his time in Jacksonville, going 9-8 in his first two seasons (making the playoffs one of those seasons), before dropping to 4-13 this past fall.
After the most bizarre coaching search in recently NFL history, the Jags landed their guy in Bucs offensive coordinator Liam Coen.
